Welcome to the Department of Anatomy

We aim for excellence in teaching and research, within a working environment that is welcoming and supportive for both students and staff. The department is well equipped with all advanced tools related to teaching and research such as Plastinated cadavers, Histological labs, Large dissecting room, Anatomy Museum and IT lab.

Among our recent major developments is the formation of Anatomy skill lab, with arguably the best human anatomy dissection room facilities in the Kingdom for teaching undergraduates and postgraduates - including the provision of surgical training courses for the Surgeons. We provide undergraduate teaching to medics, dentists, pharmacist, physiotherapist, Radiology and medical technicians and scientists.

The department offers two types of master (MSc) programs. One for medical and dental qualified doctors. The other one (MSc, Technical Anatomy) is offered for those who hold BSc in biological sciences like biology, microbiology, biochemistry..etc.
